ENDING THE CYCLE OF POVERTYProviding decent, affordable shelter, and creating a sense of security and comfort is primary to Habitat''s mission. "Many people in our homes came from rental units that didn''t even have heating and cooling systems," says Tucson HFH''s Yvonne Coelet. Sixteen-year-old Isaac Felix lives with his mother and four siblings in a four-bedroom, passive-solar, rammed-earth house built by Tucson Habitat for Humanity. "The neat thing about our house is that when it''s hot outside, it''s cool in side, and when it''s cold outside, it''s warm inside. We don''t even have to use our air conditioner or heater," Felix says.

"While all three of the DE Series pumps offer full authority fuel timing and control, they utilize a ''building block'' approach of progressively adding features," said Paganini. "This approach provides engine manufacturers and system integrators the flexibility to define a fuel system that matches the engine''s functional needs. The objective is to meet the more demanding emissions and performance requirements, while minimizing pump complexity and price."We categorized the pump into three offerings starting with the basic model," Paganini continued. "From there, depending upon the system or engine requirements, you could adapt additional features, individually or in combination, using the building block approach. By starting at the basic pump model, you can demonstrate performance and emission compliance with minimal pump complexity and price. So rather than offering a single, full-featured pump, we''ve taken an approach that allows the OEM designer the flexibility to do his own interfacing, which opens up the 7chopsaw possibility of utilizing their own componentry or outsourcing."

The setup lets him cover about 100 acres a day, "if you really stay after it and the conditions 7chopsaw are right."Hay wraps save timeHay wrapping equipment is mentioned by several producers as a top management change."A 12-foot discbine has reduced our cutting time in the hay field'' says Keith McConnell, Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada. "The best thing, though, is the new 648 baler we bought last year with the net wrap. I can''t believe how fast it is.
